Introduction to Hubspot
HubSpot is an all-in-one marketing tool that you can potentially use to help you with customer support, sales leads, monitoring how customers use your website, SEO, social media and more. If HubSpot doesn’t offer a tool themselves, then they have integrations to help you add on whatever service you may need – for example you can combine the power of Mitto SMS with your HubSpot integration. With Mitto SMS you can create SMS-based campaigns and then monitor them with both Mitto and HubSpot tools.
Get Started
To get started using HubSpot with Mitto, you’ll need to configure them to work together. This walkthrough assumes you have some familiarity with HubSpot and you have an account with HubSpot already. If you don’t, you’ll need to go through HubSpot’s instructions for setting up an account. You will be shown how to set up a Mitto account as part of this tutorial. After you have these things accomplished, do the following:
- Navigate to Mitto’s Global SMS integration in HubSpot. You can use this link: https://app.hubspot.com/ecosystem/6131209/marketplace/apps/marketing/marketing-automation/mitto-global-sms-199877
- On the Mitto Global SMS integration page, click the orange ConnectApp button in the upper right corner. The Choose an Account screen opens.
- Choose the HubSpot account you want to use for the integration (if you have more than one choice available). The next screen that opens is the Request for Integration Permissions screen.
- Click Grant access.
- Click Contacts from the menu across the top of the screen.
- Choose any contact, and look for the Mitto Global SMS Card on the right side of the screen. Click Settings.
- Select an SMS plan to use Mitto with. You can choose your plan at https://info.mitto.ch/hubspot.
- After you have your API key from Mitto (provided by an account manager), add the key in the window that opens when you click Send Global SMS on the Mitto Global SMS Card on the HubSpot contact you opened.
